An Experienced Resource
Jean Roy is an expert in real estate management. In more than twenty-five years, he has carried through an impressive number of major projects, including the recent Grande Bibliothèque project. Long-time associated with Université du Québec à Montréal, he was responsible of planning, managing and delivering the school of design, the student centre and Centre Pierre-Péladeau, among other projects.
Between 1984 and 1992, Jean Roy was the director of the Service de la programmation des espaces de l’UQAM and, in that capacity, was responsible for planning the refitting, expansion or re-development of the following departments, schools or services: the main library, school of psychology, department of law, department of anthropokinetics, school of management, school of music and administrative services.
Quite familiar with decision-making processes involved in real estate management, Jean Roy is recognized for his leadership and his ability to manage complex projects.
