The Shoe Box Model

In compliance with the most stringent international standards in terms of acoustics, stage floor design and architecture, the new concert hall is being built in the shape of a shoe box. This model is highly appreciated by the managers of the best acoustic concert halls across the world.

Long, narrow spaces with corresponding geometrical proportions feature the rectangular-shaped shoe box model.

In a shoe box concert hall, there are no superfluous physical structures on which sound waves can reverberate. Hence, it is not necessarily suitable for theatre, dance, ballet or opera performances requiring stage sets.

Concert halls well-known for outstanding acoustic performance also feature jutting balconies to eliminate obstacles as much as possible. Much more narrow than conventional auditorium balconies, they can seat a larger audience in a smaller room to enhance the feeling of intimacy.

Featuring a 21 metre-high, 50 metre-long and 25 metre-wide design, the new auditorium will further enhance intimacy and the acoustic quality of sound by projecting it in every direction.
